We are some really weird creatures. I say that we as people spend a lot of time hating each other and criticising each other. Our beliefs, our lifestyles, our appearance,...need I go on!?
I had another conversation with the JW yesterday and was extremely agitated because I was asked "where in th bible do you see that"...that isn't so.....where do you see it in the bible.
And i realised something. God is a very smart man when he said to use the bible to prove all things...however, we at times take this waaay too literally. I know many religions do not believe in the Trinity where of course, I do.
Then I also remembered somethign else. If God is truly all powerful and all beneolent etc. Is it that far fetched to think that some things were not quite explained in the bible. Well they are but have much deeper meanings that what we see on the surface. Why would God create a 3-dimensional space and then create words of wisdom that are one dimensional. How can a one dimensional being create something that is 3-dimensional? Is it possible? Well the saying goes that through God, all things are possible. Therefore, if God was one-dimensional, then all one dimensional things are possible? But a monlithic God was not even present at creation. Let there be light and later on the bible says "Let us create man...."...not "Let me"....of course the argument is that it was God and the Holy Spirit alone....i dont' think so....what about..
In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.
The later on...The word was made flesh and dwelt among us.
The reason Jesus prayed I realise isfor 2 reasons...to set an examples for us and no. 2...because he was in human flesh! therefore while on earth, he chose to live as a man..but in heaven they are equal. Jesus chose to come here...and so he did as His son. but anyways...I finish though later.
